Kind of a cook, but fancy yourself more of a cocktailer? Well, put your culinary skills to the test and play bar chef as you mix up these fresh, festive drinks. We recently had a vodka schooling from Dale De Groff (author of “The Craft of the Cocktail”). After three hours of sipping and tasting at Finlandia Vodka Finnishing School, we’d learned lots of tasty lessons. This was one of our favorites: >> 1 1/2 ounces Finlandia vodka >> 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice >> 1/2 ounce Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice Cocktail >> 1/2 ounce Remy Red >> 3/4 ounce ginger syrup Preparation: Coat the rim of a martini glass with sugar and powdered ginger (4 parts sugar to 1 part ginger). Shake all ingredients well with ice and strain into the martini glass.
