Sour Cherry Cooler, $3.25

Can someone please get us a cold drink, stat? We sweated through the recent heatwave and now it’s time to refuel with a refreshing non-alcoholic sipper at Petterino’s. Chef Marc Bernard features a rotating menu of 16-ounce drinks made with freshly squeezed lemonade and a new fruit flavor daily. The sour cherry (pictured) is made with lemonade, fruit puree and mint leaves, and served with a sugared rim and a lemon wedge garnish. Other flavors include blackberry, sour apple and pomegranate. If the stifling heat stays with us, just keep stopping in and taste the rainbow of flavors.
